Meet our Grant Recipients
The Board of Directors of the Msgr. Russ Kohler Children’s Cancer Endowment Fund is honored to have made a difference in the lives of these children and their families by providing financial assistance through our grant program as they faced their battle with cancer. While we are humbled by the kind words of gratitude we receive from the families we help, the joy in their faces is our true reward. We are honored to carry on Msgr. Kohler's altruistic legacy.

Chase is an only child from Detroit, Michigan.

Elante is from Detroit, Michigan. He has 3 siblings: Edward, Clayton and Sebastian

Jaiden is from Highland Park, Michigan. He has an older brother, August.

Recently, you approved an AMAZING gift for Sophia, her mom and brother. I could not WAIT to share this news. And to make it more special, I scheduled a Zoom meeting to tell them and wanted to share their reactions.
The difference you are making in the lives of children with cancer, I cannot even tell you how amazing you are.

Collin, Age 9
Collin is the son of Jody and Sara from Bay City, Michigan. Collin has a younger sister, Leah.

Hanna is the daughter of Lakaya of Detroit, Michigan.
Kyrie
Kyrie is the daughter of Catresse and Kwaysee from Clinton Twp., Michigan. Kyrie has a brother, Atassi, and twin siblings Aniyan (sister) and Aaron (brother).
Christian, Age 5
Christian is the son of Abby and Douglas of Newport, Michigan. The family has also been blessed with a daughter, Irelyn Denise.
Jerimiah, Age 10
Jerimiah is the son of Mary from Sterling Heights, Michigan. Jerimiah has an older sister, Gabriella and two brothers, Noah and Josiah.
My children and I want to thank you for all that you did for our family. The stress it took off of me alone was a heart-warming gift. This was a hard year with my son being diagnosed with cancer. You helped us to close the year with more hope of a better future.

Ava, Age 10
Ava is the daughter of Mitchell and Karen from Allen Park, Michigan. Ava has an older sister Kaitlyn.
Aiden
Aiden is the son of Stephanie. Aiden has two brothers: Isaia and Lucas, and two sisters: Giuliana and Madeleine.
Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for the generous donations. ❤️ It lifts such a burden off our family’s shoulders! We are beyond grateful!!! From all of us, thank you!!!

Calaiya
Calaiya is the daughter of Casandra and Terrence. She has a brother: J'Sean, and two sisters: Jaleah and Jaielle

Terrence, Age 8
Terrence is the son of Crystal and Terrence. Terrence has three sisters: Taikore, Treasure and T'Epira.
This is a tremendous blessing to our family. Even with everything that is going on in the world this proves that the human race cares for one another. We cannot say thank you enough for helping us stay in our home as Braelyn fights cancer, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
